1Chennai – Mamallapuram (55 KM, 1 Hour)
- Your South India Splendour Tour will begin upon your arrival at the Chennai airport, where you will be greeted by our representative.
- Our designated Havishe Travels representative will assist you and will take you around for the guided tour of the Chennai. It is famous for historical places, ancient temples, cultural art centers and long sandy beaches.
- You will start with visiting the Fort St. George, the structure is an architectural brilliance. And it is Located on the shores of the Bay of Bengal.
- You will continue your day trip of the city of Chennai with visiting the well-known Anna Samadhi and Museum, Located on marina beach. It is a memorial that was built to commemorate the death of former chief minister of the state C. N. Annadurai.
- After that, our representative will drive you to the city of Mamallapuram.
- You can spend the rest of the day according to your own personal choice.

2Mamallapuram – Kanchipuram – Mamallapuram ( 160 KM , 4 Hours )
- In the Morning, post breakfast, our representative will drive you to the one of the sacred towns- Kanchipuram. The city of Kanchipuram is considered as the religious capital of South India.
- After that, return back to Mamallapuram and visit Shore Temple. The temple was built with the blocks of granite and it is built in honor of Lord Shiva, this sea shore wonder is a World Heritage Site.
- Later after the tiring day, proceed with your representative back to designated hotel at Mamallapuram

3Mamallapuram -Pondicherry (155 KM, 3 Hours)
- In the morning after having breakfast at the hotel, you will later check-out and our representative will take you to Pondicherry, one of the famous tourist spots in South India and your next destination in your Southern India tour.
- Upon arriving at Pondicherry, our designated representative will help you through the check in at your designated hotel.
- Perfect blend of Indian and French Culture can be seen at Pondicherry.
- Later proceed to visit the Sri Aurobindo Ashram, It is a vibrant center of life in an urban setting. This ashram was founded in 1926.
- After the end of your day trip, you can either return to the hotel or wander around the city, exploring various shopping hotspots or street food.

4Pondicherry – Chindabaram – Tanjore (170 KM, 4 Hours)
- In the morning, after having breakfast at the hotel, you will later check out and leave for Chidambaram, an important Pilgrimage center and a sacred place for Saivites. It is also known as Thillai as the place was originally a forest of Thillai.
- After that, you will visit Nataraja Temple, is dedicated to Lord Nataraja and also dedicated to the art of Bharatnatyam.
- As a part of your Southern India tour continue driving to traditionally rich city - Tanjore. It is a known as a center of art, music and handicrafts.
- Upon your arrival at Tanjore, you will be checking-in to your hotel which is already booked under your South India Splendour Tour Package.
- After refreshments you will later proceed to the half day guided tour to visit Brihadeshwara Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site is the greatest glory of Dravidian temple architecture. It was built in 1010 AD.

5Tanjore – Trichy – Madurai (210 KM, 6 Hours)
- Today in the morning after breakfast at the hotel, check out and continue your tour for your next destination as per the Southern India Splendor tours.
- Our representative will drive you to Madurai. Via en-route visit to Trichy, popularly known as Trichy, and has a bygone glory of centuries. It is city of rock fort, positioned on the banks of the river Kaveri, Tiruchirappalli.
- Continue your journey to visit the Trichy’s most famous landmark- Rock Fort Temple. It is an 83m high rock. At the peak of the rock is a temple devoted to Lord Vinayaka.
- Later, visit the most important pilgrimage site of Trichy - Srirangam Temple. it is surrounded by the waters of the Kaveri and its tributary on all sides.
- Upon your arrival at Madurai check-in to your designated hotel for your stay in the city.
- You can spend the rest of your day relaxing at the hotel or exploring the city.

6Madurai
- In the morning after having breakfast at the hotel, our designated representative will assist you for the sightseeing tour of Madurai. It is a sacred confluence of culture and religion, and is popularly known as Athens of the East.
- You will also visit the famous Meenakshi temple. The main divinity of the temple is Goddess Meenakshi. It is a famous temple as travellers from across the globe visit this temple.
- Continuing your day trip under the Southern India tour you will visit The Tirumala Naik Palace. The original structure is four times larger than the present structure and was divided into two parts. It was built in 1636 AD by King Tirumalai Nayak,
- As you complete your sightseeing tour for the day, you will be free to indulge in shopping or drive back to your hotel for some rest.

7Madurai – Periyar (140 KM, 4 Hours)
- In the morning, after having breakfast at the hotel, you will later check out and leave for Periyar.
- Upon arriving at the Periyar, our representative will help you transfer to your designated hotel
- You will start your tour with visiting the Periyar National Park and wildlife Sanctuary. The sanctuary is a famous elephant and tiger reserve. This is a protected area in Pathanamthithi in Kerala.
- You can enjoy the wildlife by an adventurous ride on the boat cruise and get a sight of wild elephants in their natural habitat, making your Southern India tour even more memorable.
- After that, return to hotel for overnight stay and dinner.

8Periyar – Alleppey ( 130 KM, 4 Hours )
- This early morning after you complete breakfast and check out from the hotel, you will proceed for Alleppey, famously known as Venice of the East. This small beautiful town located in South India is a famous tourist spot and your next destination in your Southern India tour.
- Upon arrival, embark the houseboat for your rest of the stay. Your houseboat will be already booked as a part of the Southern India tour package.
- Explore the enchanting backwaters of Alappuzha, its breathtakingly beautiful surroundings and the fascinating Kerala countryside on houseboat ride.
- Enjoy an overnight stay at the houseboat and all meals will be served on board.

9Alleppey – Kochi (65 KM, 1 ½ Hours)
- In the morning after breakfast, disembark the houseboat and continue your journey to Kochi which is known for its natural beauty, beaches, greenery, culture and traditions
- Upon your arrival at Kochi check-in to your designated hotel for your stay in the city.
- After resting for some time in the afternoon you will leave for sightseeing of the city.
- You will start with visiting the The Dutch Palace Museum, which is also profoundly known as Mattacherry Palace.
- Continue to visit Jewish Synagogue, situated near Dutch Palace and Museum and is is also known as Paradesi Synagogue. The interior of the synagogue is noted for its glass chandeliers from Belgium and blue willow patterned Chinese floor tiles.
- Also visit the St. Francis Church in Fort Kochi, which was later overlaid by stonework. Originally built in timber by the Portuguese in 1503.
- You can wander around the city, exploring various shopping hotspots or street food, Chinese Fishing Nets are a famous landmark of the city.
- In the evening enjoy one of the classical dance forms of South India, Kathakali.

10Kochi – Calicut – Vythiri (By Train – 4 Hours + 90 KM, 2 Hours)
- In the morning, after having breakfast at the hotel, check-out and you will be transferred to Ernakulam station by our representative to board a train to Calicut.
- Upon arriving at Calicut railway station, you will be greeted by our representative.
- Our designated representative will assist you and will drive you to Vythiri, which is nestled in the lush green Shola Forest of western Ghats.
- Enjoy an overnight stay and dinner at the hotel.

11Vythiri
- In the morning after having breakfast at the hotel get ready for a full day tour around the city.
- You will start with visiting Chembra Peak and continue your journey of the Southern India Splendor tours. It’s a perfect spot for adventure enthusiast and nature lovers. It is the main peak in Wayanad.
- You will continue your day trip to Brahmagiri Hills which are a scenic tourist attraction located in Wayanad district of Kerala. Later also visit, Thirunelli Temple, which is situated on the scenic Brahmagiri Hills and is devoted to Lord Vishnu.
- Continue the trip to the pre-historic rock shelter naturally shaped by three huge rocks out of which one rests on other rocks- The Edakkal Caves.
- Explore the scenic views of the mystic hills with lush green carpet of Tea and Coffee Plantation.
- Enjoy overnight stay at the hotel.

12Vythiri – Mysore (150 Kms, 4 Hours)
- In the Morning, post breakfast, leave for Mysore. Also known as the City of Palaces, and has a quaint charm that enchants each and every tourist who visits the city.
- Upon arrival our designated representative will assist you and also help you through the check in at your designated hotel.
- After resting for some time, you will start with visiting, Mysore Palace. It is Indo Saracenic building with domes, arches and turrents is a treasure trove of carved paintings and works from across the globe.
- You will continue your day trip by visiting one of the best gardens in the country- Beautiful Vrindavan Gardens. These are located at the KR Sagar Dam.
- Later also visit, Chamundi Temple. It was was built in the 12th century and perched at the top of Chamundi hills. It was named after Goddess Durga, The deity is said to be made of gold and the temple doors of silver.
- After the end of your day trip you can either return to the hotel or wander around the city, exploring various shopping hotspots or street food.

13Mysore – Hassan (120 KM, 3 Hours)
- Today in the morning after breakfast at the hotel, check out and continue your tour for your next destination, Hassan. It was an important capital city during the Hoysala dynasty, Founded in the 11th century.
- Upon your arrival at Hassan you will be checking-in to your hotel which is already booked under your South India Splendour Tour Package.
- Later after resting, you will start your trip with visiting Cheenakeshawa Temple at Belur. The interiors of the temple are intricately carved. The beauty of idols and ornamental carvings seem as metal works. It was built by Hoysala ruler king, Vishnuvardhana.
- Later continue your visit to the Temple whose walls of the temple are covered with carvings of Gods of Hindu mythology- Hoysaleswara Temple at Halebidu.

14Hassan – Hospet (360 KM, 7 Hours)
- In the morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel and continue your journey to Hospet.
- Visit Hampi ruins. Scattered over the landscape, the ruins of Hampi will leave you spellbound. Hampi is a small village situated within the ruins of Vijaynagar in Karnataka. A World Heritage Site, Hampi is a place where you can let yourself midst the ruins.
- Return to your hotel for the overnight stay and dinner.

15Hospet – Hampi – Hospet
- Today in the morning after having breakfast at the hotel get ready for a full day tour around Hampi where you will visit various Temples which will leave you mesmerized.
- You will start with visiting the 900 years old temple boasting of an ancient south Indian temple architecture- The 15th century Chandramouleshwara Temple.
- Next visit, Vittala Temple which is the most brilliant architectural masterpiece of Hampi.
- Continue your visit to the Temple which is Towering 160 feet high, and is dedicated to Lord Shiva- Virupaksha Temple, the main center of attraction in the city.
- Also visit Lotus Mahal. The archways and the balcony with the domed construction looks like a half opened lotus bud. The structure is made of Lime mortar and brick. And is one of the prominent architecture in Hampi.
- While wandering around the city also visit Sule Bazaa. It is located at the base of the Matanga Hill and in front of the beautiful Tiruvengalanatha Temple and is a deserted temple street
- You will continue you visit to Achyutaraya Temple, which is one of the finest examples of the Vijaynagara style of architecture.
- Later also visit this famous place which in all probability was a royal pleasure complex for the king and his wives- Queen’s Bath. For some mysterious reasons it’s called the Queen’s Bath.
- This long building is rowed with domed chambers which were used to park the royal elephants. Elephant Stables are among the few structures that were destroyed.
- Return to Hospet for overnight stay and dinner.

16Hospet – Banglore (340 KM, 7 Hours)
- Next day after breakfast, depart for Bangalore. It is the number one cosmopolitan city in South India. Blessed with a compassionate climate and wonderful drinking, dining and shopping scene.
- You will start with visiting to famous Lalbagh Gardens which were laid down by Haider Ali and further developed by his son Tipu Sultan more than 200 years ago.
- You will continue your day trip to Cubbon Park & Museum. The fringes of Cubbon Park are painted red and it is one of the oldest structures in India, sprawling over 120 hectares.
- In the evening you will be provided travel assistance and other help to the Bangalore airport to board a flight to onward destination.

- Assistance will be provided during your arrival and departure at all cities by Havishe Travels.
- Your everyday breakfast in the morning at hotel is covered under your Southern India Splendor tours.
- All transfers will be provided as a part of your Southern India tour, including the airport/railway transfers by an AC vehicle.
- In every city that you will be visiting during your amazing journey, you will be provided with a local English speaking guide as a part of your Southern India tour package.
- One mineral water bottle per person is included in the everyday essentials provided as a part of the Southern India Splendor tours package.
- All currently applicable taxes of any sorts including GST will be covered and included under the Southern India tours
Exclusion
- Your Southern India Splendor tours won't include any kind of Visa fees (if applicable during your journey from start to finish).
- The entry fees to any historical monuments/ museums/ parks or any kind is not to be included under the Southern India tour package.
- Any camera charges/rides or extra curricular activities are not covered under your Southern India Splendor tours.
- Tips will not be given from the tour package (they are always optional, but some guidance will be given to you in the pre-departure information pack that you'll receive after the booking)
- Any of the beverages other than drinking water & any costs of a personal nature is not covered under the Southern India tour package.
- Any of the International/Internal flights that are take to/from the start/finish of the trip is not covered under your Southern India Splendor tours package.
